From New York City, the city that never sleeps, comes forth a new, talented recording Artist named King Velocity. Born Anthony Fauntleroy on June 13, 1982, he was destined to make his mark as a lyricist in the music industry. Coming from a musical as well as literature background, it was no surprise that creating his own music became his passion and a way to share his life experiences with other people all over the world.
King Velocity found his niche for writing at the age of nine in the fourth grade. It was a poetry assignment that started it all. He did so well that his professor took notice of his unique writing skills/ usage of vocabulary and wanted him to enter a poetry writing contest. From then on he enjoyed writing poetry and branched off into writing Hip Hop & R&B songs as he developed a talent for songwriting at the age of fourteen. As his fan base began to increase on Myspace he began performing at various venues within New York City.
Since then King Velocity has been gaining more exposure as a Hip Hop Artist on the rise. Music industry moguls consult with him daily as he plans out his next big move on the music industry chess board. His passion for creating classic Hip Hop/ R&B music is in a league of it's own.
